Gatefold design + merch for Trails, the new LP by DC-based band.
The album deals primarily with concepts of love, loss, addiction, etc., but it’s also a therapeutic release by an artist living with bipolar disorder. The illustration + photo are a juxtaposition of the actual trails we travel, as well a migraine aura; an unwanted visual trail. There are aspects of serenity, peace, and beauty, along with cycles of confusion and friction both in the music and the design.
